After graduating with a liberal arts degree in Chicago, Sara jumped on a plane to the West Coast with just one suitcase and $100 in her pocket. She landed in San Francisco and a decade later she's still using the city as a base for her travels. Already the author of several travel and non-fiction books, Sara has also contributed to Lonely Planet's Peru, Las Vegas and Hiking in Hawaii guides.
