The Old City in Cartagena

As I shared last Thursday in Would You Accept a Free Trip to Colombia, I was asked to head down there next month for 2 weeks to see the best the country has to offer and blog about my experiences.  I was 99% sure everything was in order, however I learned how important it is to be 100% sure about a project before announcing it!

A small issue will prevent me from going down there.  I won’t go into detail, however I do expect to stay on board in a supportive role for the chosen US-based blogger.  I am still very excited about it all, and I look forward to sharing more as soon as possible.  It’s no secret I want the best for Colombians after my experience living there, and if I can use blogging as a platform to foster tourism to benefit their economy, I am happy to do so.

For the other travel bloggers reading, is there a particular country you try to support or highlight more than the rest in your writing?
