Tokoname, Japan – Maneki Neko

Tokoname is located just outside Nagoya and one stop away by train from the Centrair International Airport.

Like Seto , Tokoname is an old pottery town with the Maneki neko ceramics everywhere.  This photo of one was just sitting in someones yard. Pottery shops are everywhere even in peoples homes. You can pick up one of many walking guides at the town train station.
