Namibia No More

Blog: Africa Attraction - 22 September 2009

By: Olli

From our five days in Namibia, we saw more of the place than its people. Harsh, arid landscapes of contrasting gradients, punctuated by red sands, boulders and endless roads, made for great visuals. What little personal interaction we had was limited to friendly backpackers, personable yet innately prejudiced Afrikaans men and long-faced, sleepy Afrikaans women, who were all thoroughly unimpressed by our Four Weddings diplomacy.
