Kyrgyzstan Visa Extension

We have extended our Kyrgyz visas in Bishkek.
The building is on Toktogul 64a, corner of Ibraimov. the sign says something about visa department of Bishkek. you need to give a photocopy of info page and visa page, your passport and 1085 Som. they also request a letter of application, which means you need a blank piece of paper (sold separately from a nearby Xerox or whatever) and write down in English you name and pass# and why you want an extension (Tourism is a good enough answer). my gues is that you can write the lyrics of your favourite poem, as the woman-officer who reads it and signs the approval does not speak English. the office is open 9-12:30 (although they leave at 12:00) and again at 16:40 for recieving the passport back. same day process.
By the way, you pay 5 Som for the form you fill.
Getting there: I stay at the Nomad, and marshutka 214 from opposite the avtovagzal takes to Moskva-Sulatan Ibraimov.
