Tajikistan visa extension

We have extended our Tajik visa in Dushanbe, without any travel agent.
The consular services office is in Pushkin 30/1, Dushanbe. 8:30-10:30 applications, 14:00-17:00(?). you must give them a filled form (found at the office) 2 copies, 2 passport size photos, photocopy of your passport (information page and Tajik visa page). you are then sent to AmonatBank, on Rudaki St. to pay 1$ fee and come back. then they tell you to come back after 2 days, paying 15$ and 35 Som/ 20$ and 35Som (one week/ two weeks extension) at the AmonatBank. you then give them the passport and receipt and wait till evening (come in by 13:30, leave at about 17:00).
Notes: the line outside the office is a mess, make sure your name is written on at least one list, there are 2. attention: it is called ‘exit visa’ but it’s the same as extension. it is possible to make the extension on the same day, if you pay double. all along the procedure takes 3 days. also: GBAO is not extended at this office, only in OVIR offices.
Finding MiD office: Walk on Rudaki across from the big park until you stumble upon Rustaveli St. (the one with the globe statue). follow Rustaveli till the first turn left, then turn right onto a small drive-way like street (on your left you will see a sign about Taikwan-Du, Kickboxing and Fitness in Russian). on your left there is a small wooded parking lot, on it’s far side is the MiD office, a small locked door with an angry crowd on it’s steps. Good Luck
