2D1N Kukup Stay All-Meals Inclusive
The main draw for many visitors to Kukup, is the seafood meals – considering that this is a fishing village; one would expect the freshest and cheapest seafood in this area.
This is also evident from the way the 2D1N Kukup packages are advertised e.g. our itinerary for the Hello Leisure Resort is as such:

A timetable of food – come to Kukup and enjoy Lunch @ 12 noon, Tea @ 3pm, Dinner @ 7 pm and ending off Day 1 with a Supper @ 10 pm. This is then continued by Breakfast @ 8 am and the final meal at Kukup – Lunch @ 12 noon. A dream itinerary for foodies like me ! ![]()
In case you are wondering, we got the Big Prawn package (for Day 1 Dinner). You will see more of these yummy food on display below. The tides can come and go but the only thing that’s definite in Kukup is the Food and you will never go hungry here. ![]()

Fried Prawn Crackers with Cheng Teng Dessert @ Kukup
At 4pm, we were served with yummy and crispy prawn crackers for tea. The chalet owners informed us that if we want more prawn crackers, we can request for it! How can we give up on such an opportunity for yummy prawn crackers?! We duly asked for a second round of prawn crackers.
To cool us down in the afternoon heat, we were also provided with Cheng Teng for dessert. The chalet owners are indeed very thoughtful.
Seafood BBQ Dinner @ Kukup
The best thing about this meal is we don’t have to BBQ the food ourselves – all food are prepared and cooked ready to eat. The dinner spread was quite sumptuous – Otah, Fish Ball, Satay, Chicken Wing, BBQ Stingray, Sotong, Sweet Potatoes with fruits.
Supper – Porridge with Luncheon Meat + Egg + Bean Sprout @ Kukup

Nasi Lemak Yutiao Curry Puff Breakfast @ Kukup

Seafood Lunch (Cereal Prawns) @ Kukup

~~~ Burp! ~~~
The only gripe we had about the meals (not the fault of the chalet owners) was the irritating houseflies that kept buzzing around us and our food during lunch. We ended up having to multitask – guarding our food from houseflies and trying to peel prawn shells and crack crab shells.
Apparently the flies are blind at night (info thanks to Fion – our in-house expert on houseflies behavior) so we were spared the hassle of having to shoo them away during dinner.
