Kisharang Etkezde
Another Lonely Planet recommendation – the central ‘Little Bell’ is an etkezde that is on the top of the list with students and staff of the nearby Central European University. Etkezdes are canteens which serve simple dishes that change daily.
TY and I ordered a clear broth with egg and their specialty meal – Transylvanian Wooden Plate which consist of Fried, grilled, Paris-style pork cutlet with roasted, Vienna sausages and bacon – 1800 HUF
We rate Budapest Kisharang etkezde:
- Food (yummy!): 4.5/5
- Ambiance (simple; eat and go place): 3.5/5
- Service (efficient and helpful): 3.5/5
- Location (5 minute walk from Arany Janos metro ): 4/5
- Value (1200 HUF for a main course + soup): 4/5
