Sunday Chill Out copy

As part of this blog’s Sunday Chill-Out Specials, I will be sharing with you an unusual hotel architecture from Sweden.

Sweden’s Jumbo Hostel

We all had our fair share of experiences trying to catch a nap in airports and airplanes amid all the noise and uncomfortable seats.  Staying in the Jumbo Hostel combines the experiences of sleeping in airport and an airplane without all the discomfort associated with it and all the luxury of a First Business Class cabin without breaking your bank account!

Sweden jumbo Hostel

The most expensive room – the cockpit suite (see picture below).  This suite has a panorama view with two adjustable beds and sleeps up to two adults. The room is also equipped with TV, wireless internet free of charge and toilet with shower.  Price: 3300 SEK (S$800+) per night (breakfast included)

Join the ‘Mile High Club” here – though you are just metres from the ground but you get the feeling of flying too..

Twin rooms are equipped with two 90 cm beds and sleeps up to two adults. TV, wireless internet free of charge.
Price: 1200 SEK.  Other room prices ranges from 350 SEK (dorm bed) to about 1400 SEK

More info here: Sweden Arlanda Jumbo Hostel.  Conveniently located beside the Stockholm’s International Arlanda Airport – this hostel is suitable for those who would like to catch a quick nap before an early flight.
