Did you know 1 in 20 Australians are abroad at any one time? That’s 1 million of the tucker loving, boomerang throwing, gold medal winning, corky hatted, pom bashing, Fosters swigging, convicted ‘Neighbours’ extras. You might even say that there’s ‘heaps’ of them abroad, I certainly would as they have without doubt been the best represented nation I’ve encountered on my travels. Fair play to them for getting about I say.
I went back to that Vintage clothes store (actually called ‘Vintage’) yesterday and it wasn’t bad. I didn’t buy ought for reasons I’ve mentioned many times here before. If you’re round these parts and like that sort of thing I recommend you look ‘em up, its on Jana Pawla II, number 44.
I’ve done a hell of a lot of walking today and went to loads of different places on my list but to be honest, most of them weren’t anything special so I won’t bother rambling on about them. Plus I’m in a rush as I’m just off to catch my train which will see me in Krakow after 3 and a half hours. Goodo.
Warsaw is well worth a visit though, I’ve enjoyed my time here.
The picture is of a statue merged into a building in the MDM housing district. It’s very Stalinist and there are many more like this depicting the perfect Communist life.
