When Orienteering turns bad

Last night I went to ‘The House Of Reggae’ with the 2 lads from Dublin and crazy Eddy the Mexican. Was okay, I didn’t even have to wear a daft beenie hat this time round either.

My next stop of Quebec City is supposed to be very pretty but quiet as well. Maybe that’s a good thing though as I’ve not been to bed before 3 for far too many consecutive nights now.

Less than 2 weeks and I’ll be home to plot my Euro invasion. Blimey. It’s gone fast readers, fast it has gone.

I just walked a considerable distance over to the Montreal Museum Of Fine Arts only to discover it’s shut on Mondays. Bit annoying as it looks good too. Lazy Canucks.

I then went down to The Marie Reine Du Monde (Mary Queen Of The World) Cathedral which I think is a smaller replica of a Bascilla in Rome. Most impressive.

After that the real walking begun when I went to Parc Du Mont Royal (a park on a big f-off hill) and got caught in a storm in shorts and a t-shirt, I then got lost as my map pretty much disintegrated in the heavy downpour. Not fun.

By the time I got back I was cream crackered and after some grub I zoned out in front of ‘Cloverfield’ on DVD. A very average flick.

I’d certainly come back to Montreal, I’ve wasted a fair bit of time and there’s still plenty I haven’t seen. It makes my top 5 cities of the trip list.
