We are on our way to Gent now, all be it a little slower than we intended as we’ve got on the train that goes all around the houses and doubles the travel time (still only to an hour mind).
Well Gent was okay, but a little dull really. It had some pretty bits very much in the same style as Bruges but it was nothing special.
We went up Gravensteen castle which was you know, a castle. Other than that a few beers and we were on our way back to Brussels.
Tonight is my last night in Belgium and we are off to some club which has been converted from a school building or something. Apparently there are a few different rooms with varied music on but I’m still a bit worried, I don’t think it’s the Belgian’s strong point.
The pic is of a beautiful Vespa ET3 Primavera I saw parked on a Gent Street. This model of scooter is one of 6 I wish to have in my collection one day, if only.
RIP Bobby Robson btw, he was one of the few gents left in football.
