3 Tips For Renting Your Bansko Property

Mountain View

Mountain View Ref MV05, Bansko

I ‘ve just launched the BanskoBlog apartment and property rental offer to subscribers. And today, one of the first advertisers sending in their pictures enclosed a property, Mountain View, which really caught my eye. Sheree, the owner, admitted to many heavy check in bag laden trips from the UK to Bulgaria. Bags full of quality furnishings from cushions to glasses and pictures…
…So it sparked a thought about what makes the difference to a good rental property to a really special on for when I am looking to stay. There are many — but here are my top 3 for today.
What Makes A Difference To Your Guests?

For me, a hotel or a home is defined by a great night’s sleep. A comfortable bed. Egyptian cotton sheets, and real feather pillows. The expensive ones at Marks and Spencer’s, John Lewis or even IKEA do it for me. Then I need that silky luxury that is no longer a luxury… real 300+ weave Egyptian cotton sheets and cotton duvet cover. Oh yes, these things matter to me. If you have also stayed in your fair share of hotel rooms you may also appreciate these things.
Provide them for your guests and they will not look elsewhere when they return.

Cleanliness Is Next To Godliness

This means to me clean  – but clean where you can’t see. Above doors, on top of cupboards, under the bed, blinds, window sills. The removal of bathroom and kitchen limescale is essential too for me to feel really relaxed.  And a sparkling bathroom always delights. If you’re not sure you can deliver a high standard – get a separate cleaner to do this or change your property manager to one that has high standards.

Service When Guests Arrive

The first impression is more than just a property.. its the person who shows you around. It.s the person who drives you from the airport to where you are staying. I am at my worst when tired — and some of those EasyJet and Wizz Air flights are will test all but the most chilled out natures. But a friendly smile at the airport, a nice chat to explain how the heating, shower, kitchen and gadgets work. All this done well sets the tone for a special holiday for me.
Be sure your property manager can deliver this in Bansko, and you’ll stand on getting repeat visits and recommendations the following year.
