| BEST overall shoes ever

I have high arches and have a hard time finding running shoes that don't make my feet go numb with lacing. These fit like a glove are light enough to run on a treadmill but tough enough for rocky trails. Buying my second pair!

I bought the Woman's Vasque Velocity because I am an avid trail runner with weak ankles and wanted a running shoe that would give my ankles a little extra support. I have a medium width foot with medium arches. I tested these shoes 2 days out of the box in low 80 tempertaures running with my dogs across wide open grassy fields along single tracks strewn with tree roots and rocks down a steep embankment to the creek to water the dogs then back up the opposite embankment to return to the single track. These shoes gave me the cushioned ride that makes running a joy while at the same time providing me with strong ankle and arch support. No fancy laces--just tug and tie--my favorite. I normally wear a 7 and 1/2 in a hiking or running shoe and the Velocity 7 and 1/2 fit me great with just a bit of wiggle room for my toes. After an hour and a half of running and hiking in these shoes I returned home with no hint of a blister on either foot. I highly recommend these shoes and hope that Vasque does not "upgrade" them for a long time because they are perfect for me just the way they are.

These shoes have really helped me fight fatigued and aching feet. I wear them on the trail and around town as well.
