Smith Prodigy Goggle Smith Prodigy Goggle

Eye-pleasing freestyle frame designs with spherical Carbonic-X lenses. Medium fit.

If you can't afford to buy the top-of-the-line Prodigy Goggle with Turbo Fan you won't be settling for second-best with this Prodigy Goggle. Think of it as optical excellence with no batteries required. The Prodigy Goggle features Smith's Carbonic-X lens an amazingly clear design that meets Class 1 optical standards. These lenses are individually molded to increase the scratch and impact resistance at all temperatures. The Carbonic-X lens has a curved spherical design that helps increase the interior volume and reduce the probability of condensation. Spherical lenses look cool but some cheap goggles have a bulging lens that distorts the view and makes your eyes feel tired after a couple of runs. Smith's TLT (Tapered Lens Technology) eliminates the refractions and keeps all objects in your line in normal dimensions. This is done by progressively tapering the lens from the optical center toward your peripheral view matching the curvature of your natural eye shape. Another nice touch on the Prodigy is Smith's articulating outrigger positioning system. It's an extra hinge that extends from the corner of the frame to help the strap stretch around the contours of your ski or snowboarding helmet. This extension creates an even pressure across your brow and nose instead of that annoying stretch sensation you might feel from goggles that are not compatible with helmets. The big benefit from the articulating outrigger is the fit resulting in a complete seal that potentially keeps your face warmer and far more comfortable. So grab a Prodigy get out there and recharge your batteries. You know--the ones that you wore down working inside all summer.
