I have been trail running for over three years now and have been using Salomon shoes only from day one. I can`t say enough about these shoes. The comfort and support level are superior along with traction in all sorts of conditions. The XA Pro 3D XCR are the best yet. I highly recommend them.

The Salomon XA Pro 3D XCR are the perfects shoes for trail running and light hiking in any king of weather. They also are a must in any adventure racing.

This is the second pair of these quality crafted shoes and they live up to the hype. Very comfortable and the lacing system is superior to any trail shoe on the market! The price at Altrec beats any other outfitter I have found...
Great Off-Road

These really shine in rough trail and snow conditions. They are very comfortable and stable in rough uneven terrain. The lacing system is nifty and easy (especially with gloves on) but it can get uncomfortable if laced too tight. On the other hand I have found the shoes perform great without having to pull the laces tight. One word of caution: while these are extremely comfortable off-road they are not comfortable on the road. Stay off-road!

The shoes are just as I expected. My trainer wore a pair while we worked out together and he said they were like slippers. Not too macho but a great description. I would definately buy another pair in the future. Altrec was the only company that had exactly the style and color I wanted and as a bonus - Great Customer Service! Thanks.
