My favorite summer shorts. I agree they are a slimmer fit. I too am normally an 8 and find the 10s to be a perfect fit.

It doesn't say here but these are advertised as slim fit. I normally wear medium or regular size 8. I did order the 10 and am very pleased with the fit. They look great on and the material is very soft.

These shorts are A) super flattering B) super comfortable and C) super functional. The only "complaint" I can come up with is that the thin(breathable) fabric stretches out when you are hot and have worn them all day. Once you rewash them they are golden all over again. I say they run true to size and aren't especially slim or relaxed--they will loosen up as you wear them thru the day....
