The Synchilla Duckbill Hat is a great hat for cold weather backpacking or any other activity.
Looks great It's warm and keeps dry when I sweat.
It keeps you head completely warm.

This cap works well for all types of winter activities from X/C skiing day trips to week long camping trips. The soft bill is a big advantage.

I bought my first one in 1995 (and still have it). These are terrific hats in all weather except really severe wind (even then they still hold some warmth). I used to think they were pricey ... not any more. They hold up keep my head nice and warm comfortable practical ... and they LAST. Well worth the cost.

I have worn this model hat for the last 15 years. Now my daughter wears it too to be just like Mommy. It looks great feels warm but not hot and doesn't mess up your hair compared to other tight fitting hats.
