My son (6.5yrs) loves this coat. It fits perfectly and the hood is tapered in to keep the wind out. He says it is really warm but I think we'd pair it with a fleece for the coldest winter days in Chicago. It is very well-made like all of Patagonia products and the customer service is top notch.

I am 29 and I just purchased this great jacket for myself. It fits a bit bigger than I expected. I wound up buying a size large instead of an xlarge. The print and the weight of the jacket are superb. I love the maroon side with contrasting stitching.

I was having trouble finding the right coat for my 9 year old son...he did not want bulky but I wanted warm (we live in CT and winters can be cold). I think this is the perfect fit for both of us since it can be layered on tose really cold days. Fit is true to size and I LOVE Patagonia!
