This makes for a good belt not great but above average. I liked it well enough to order the Tech Web Belt which is a thicker more robust version of this belt.

I have some other belts by a major company that is a another name for a buffalo starting fray at the buckle after a short time. So far the Patagonia belts are holding up. Thanks.
Great looking, durable belt

This belt has a metal closure and the overall belt is made of very durable material. Plus 1% for the planet. You can't beat this belt. Well worth every penney. This was my first but will not be my last.
