The Modified D is a great handling carabiner for general use.
Same "D" shape as the 7/16" model but with bigger material for increased strength. Same great handling and use characteristics but with a strength rating of 65 kN (that's over 14000 lbs.!).

This biner is not light but if your looking for a bombproof one this is it. Great to use if you don't have to haul your gear very far or if you are in need of a high saftey factor.
