Oakley Polarized Spike Sunglasses Oakley Polarized Spike Sunglasses

Large lenses and extra style that doesn't block out the big picture. Polarized iridium lenses.

Made with a lightweight C5 alloy frame Oakley's Polarized Spike Sunglasses are a full metal alternative to Oakley's O Matter Gascan without any extra weight to weigh you down. We ordered a bunch paired with the polarized iridium lenses to minimize glare from wet streets rolling waves and bright snow. Oakley's big peripheral lens design features a distortion-free plutonite material that's geometrically shaped and refined through Oakley's High Definition Optics (HDO) to maintain the same exceptional visual clarity through all angles of view even at the far edges. Cheap sunglasses with wrap designs usually bend light rays and distort your vision along the edges so you ignore the blurs and squiggles until something catches you off-guard. We like our Spikes for casual urban adventures in bright sun (especially at the beach) but the grips on the ear stems help these durable sunglasses hold their own through moderate-impact activities.

Great style... very bad design Image: 2 Stars

I bought these glasses because I thought they fit my face very well and liked the style. But I forgot to look at the design which has become a major problem. Although others have noted the thin fame and lens popping out. I havent had that issue. But what I have seen is that the metal arms fold and rest directly on the lens. So now I have two giant scratch marks on both lenses. The left gouge is directly in my line of sight... not so good. So now I'm taking them to the Oakly Warrenty office... Luckily they are just a few miles away...

just about to buy a pair.....maybe not Image: 5 Stars

heavy! yes I wear titanium Maui Jim best lens ever in the polarized variety... Spike....now fairly concerned about the arms folding in to the inside of the lenses D&G have that issue with many of their range. The spike looks very cool....anyone know if Oakley will produce a titanium version?

Glasses look good maybe heavy biggest sang is when you drop them the lenses pop out as the metal frame holding lens is very thin..This is very nad design nothing is holding the lens securly if they fall off your face. Got this from Sunglasses hut never buy from them

Look Good, Feel Bad Image: 5 Stars

These fit my face great and looked great I had to have them. After wearing them for about an hour I noticed two things. They are heavy on the nose and they were making me sick! The lenses were distorting my vision causing dizziness and nausea. I had other people try them and they experienced the same thing. These are going back. I would suggest wearing these in the store for awhile to see if you can tolerate them before purchasing. It is too bad.

Good design, good style, but a bit heavy. Image: 4 Stars

A very cool frame from a very cool company. I have a larger than average head/face and they fit rather well...They are a bit on the heavy side. I would have liked to see more lens options with the lighter titanium frame. Note that the lens is on the same level as the frame so if you drop these on the lens face they have no protection and will scratch easily.
