| Function, Form, Fit - all perfect!

This wetsuit saved me on a winter sea kayaking adventure in Baja. Combined with arm warmers (used with biking) NRS neoprene paddle shoes and gloves I was one happy kayaker. The lower zipper is especially "useful" on long paddles. Fit was right on for me with a size L - I am 5'7" 150 lbs small chest with generous bootie.

It fits me ... although a bit skwishy in the bust. I am a 18W and 5'6" tall; for all those that have the question of what size does it really fit. This suit expands quite a bit across the hips; the bust doesn't have as much elasticity. If you fill the suit up across the width don't expect it to fit up to 6' tall.
Nice fit. Very comfortable.

I haven't had a chance to try it in the field yet. I will use it both kayaking and scuba diving. The fit is perfect. I wear medium in clothing and ordered the medium in this and the fit is perfect. I am 5'4" with narrow shouldersribs and hips (in other words small-boned) but generous boobs and a middle-age spare tire. I do not have the same athletic body I did when younger and my spare tire kind of squashes and gives me the shape of a tree trunk when wearing the Farmer Jane but I didn't buy it to look good and its not the fault of its design. If you are medium or large boned at my height you might want the next size up. Moving around in it I can see it is comfortable as well. The skin side of the zipper is well padded so I do not anticipate any discomfort from it. Theoretically this zipper will be a godsend when kayaking and I can make up all kinds of humorous reasons why I need it when my fellow scuba divers ask. I will also be looking for a jacket to wear with it when needed.

Last Years Model - Ultra Jane

I have last years model of this suit and am going to return it to REI. I ordered the XL. I am 5'9 and 178 lbs. It fits fine but the armholes when paddling rub against my shoulder. I think they re-designed it perhaps for that reason however NRS would not admit to that. But it does appear that the newer design has inlaid another piece of material around the armhole.
