| Comfortable but falling apart
by Anonymous
I bought these for my husband in March 2004. He put them on and felt like they were made for his feet no break in needed. He has been wearing them moderately since then (plenty of walking no actual hiking) and now the stitching is coming apart on both boots at the ball of the foot area. Not sure if a shoe repair shop can fix them. Very disappointing.
Good hiker as well as day-to-day.

This is a great boot. I had an earlier version of this boot (with a blonde sole) that was good as well. This version improves on that one by having one less pair of "wrap-around" lace guides. That makes these easier to put on.
I hope Nike continues to keep at least one style of hiking boot in their ACG collection that is like this one. I prefer the neat clean leather without all the fancy patterns or odd sole designs often found on some of their other creations.
Great boot

I have had this boot for a period of about 1 1/2 years. This boot holds up wellis non-marking and is confortable for every day wear. I am back to buy a second only because it stains and the exterior is almost impossible to clean.
Good dry caving boot

The blonde sole version of this boot is a good high traction non-marking caving boot for southwest caves. It's great for Lechuguilla Cave.
Great, lightweight

Great lightweight boot for all around general hiking with med/light pack. Great performer!
