I bought the 6 liter bag and brought it along backpacking with only one Nalgene water bottle. I can purify about 4 bottles worth of water at once when I get to camp and then I don't have to mess around with the water filter any more after that. Also with this bag I can fill it up with water then camp somewhere that's not nearby a water source.
