Mountain Hardwear Men's Exposure II Parka Mountain Hardwear Men's Exposure II Parka

Built tough and proven by ski patrol use--this waterproof and breathable parka won't break down.

Ski patrol proven the Exposure Parka is built to withstand the rigors of daily alpine use. Made with a dual layer of waterproof and breathable fabric it features a UV resistant outer layer designed to help the parka maintain its performance even after long-term exposure to intense high altitude sun. Despite the polyester reinforcements to resist abrasion from rock and ice this shell is remarkably supple and exceptionally comfortable. The Simplex pit zips allow ventilation around the mesh-lined CoolMax® torso liner and a powder skirt with gripper elastic keeps snow outside the parka. A specially designed Ergo Hood moves with your head to keep your peripheral vision unimpaired. A buckled webbing strap on back of the hood adjusts with a quick tug from one hand. The Napoleon pocket gives you complete access to the inside of the parka without unzipping the front zipper. There's even a inner pocket that's big enough to hold a quart-sized bottle of your favorite beverage.

Bombproof jacket! I've had it for a little over a year at it has gone through the most skiing I've ever done in one season (and was just as good the last day as the first). The pit zips are great for the days where the mornings are cold but then warm up in the afternoon. Excelent jacket!

So Far So Good Image: 4 Stars

I got this jacket locally for $150. Was looking at TNF Mountain Light ($250). The Mountain Light seemed way overpriced for what it was offering. The Exposure Parka has much tougher material and better pit vents. I will suspend some judgement until I can wear it on trail in the pouring rain but so far I love it. I used to be very happy with TNF but I think they sold out for the most part. I will be checking into more MH products.

I liked the product pockets and compartments are useful soft material on the inside front of the collar is a great idea. Generally fit and style were great. Happy with the purchase.

Nice and tough. Have used as a heavy rain jacket and also as a light super cold jacket. Its sort of in between weights so it can be used for just about everything. I normally wear an XXL but in this jacket in xl is perfect except for the sleeves. I fact the sleeves of this jacket are the only thing I don't like. First of all they are too narrow so its hard to layer. The second fault is the pit zippers are stiff I always feel them when they are closed. It would also help it the pit zips unzipped from the opposite direction. The last problem is with the sleeve length they are just too long. I normally take shirts with a 38 inch sleeve yes I'm a monster size person but the sleeves on this XL are about an inch to inch and one half too long. These grips aside I love this jacket and have been wearing them for several years and they still look like new. Thanks for reading and keep on climbing up.

A great coat with thoughtful pocket designs and a great water repellency. Conduit is light enough for the spring but layered it makes a great shell for the slopes. I recommend using Revivex to recreate the DWR finish at least once a season. The Napoleon pocket is perfect for a camera or Ipod. A great deal for the money!
