| Bulbously Toe & Hard as Rock Sole

Weird fit for a Merrell shoe....not at all like my other 8 pairs of Merrell. They went for a Salomon lace combined with a Nike Air cushion which looks good but functions not. Lacing system very hard to cinch up & has hot spots. Toe area is bulbously large. Outsole has very small footprint and feels unstable. Vibram sole is hard as oak and not comfortable on the street; might be OK on soft soil. A real departure for Merrell and not their best.
