I have tried everything from Gore tex to venting zippers but I find that controlling temp. is a problem. No matter how much I vent I seem to get moisture buildup on the inside of my jackets so I decided to give this hybrid a try. The hybrid jacket is waterproof on top(arms shoulders and chest) and fleece on the torso. I figured if anything was going to breath really well it was just regular fleece although it wasn't waterproof.
The jacket is warm and weatherproof up to a point of driving precip. Any rain or sleet that is driving sideways will eventually penetrate your midsection but we're talking some serious weather here. The fit is just like most everything these days it is designed to be fairly form fitting and it runs in my opinion a tad to the smaller side at least a size up from american. A real nice feature of the jacket is the stretch of the fleece it is on the underside of the arms and in the torso and it works as advertised.
