I have been a loyal Arc'Teryx fan for a few years - and this is another great jacket from them. It's very feminine but incredibly sturdy. The only con is that with the hood rolled up (as I almost always have it) the collar won't zip all the way up if I'm wearring something underneath that has a turtleneck (like my Alchemy jacket). But overall I really like it. I strongly recommend it but it is sort of on the snug side - I wear a women's size small for most shirts and I originally ordered this in a small but with layers underneath I had to exchange up to a medium.

I love that it is waterproof breathable and soft but it is not a "softshell"!!!
Severe use?

This severe use jacket fits phenomenally to my shape and I love the zips and Ricco feature - but its not that warm. Would definitely recommend layering. My first day of skiing in 24 inches of powder on a cold windy flat light day yielded great wind stopper and waterproof protection just not the warmth.

I recently took this jacket on a heli skiing trip and it was the best. I was very wind proof and warm. When I got warmed up from skking it was easy to cool down w/ vents. It was very durable - we skied in the trees a lot and it was able to take the beating. I was very happy w/ my purchase.
