- 26 January - it's Australia Day and I'll be helping out at Australia Day events in Victoria - 8am I'll be in Rainbow, 9am I'll be in Jeparit, 10am will find me in Dimboola and my Australia day celebrations will wind up at 11am in Nhill
- 13-18 February - Maureen and I will be in Taipei for the Taiwan Book Fair.
- 29-30 March - Maureen and I will be in Washington DC at the Adventures in Travel show
- 28 April - The PATA (Pacific Asia Travel Association) CEO Challenge in Bangkok grapples with how the travel business will face the problems of travel and climate change
