Horse Head Adventure

Horse Head Adventure - make an ass of yourself

HYPOTHESIS: Test normal standards of social behaviour and etiquette by drawing attention to yourself in an outlandish and potentially absurd manner.
APPARATUS: Some form of strange prop or costume, eg a horse’s head.
METHOD: Don your costume and venture into society. Gauge people’s reactions: do they engage with you, laugh at you or turn away and pretend they haven’t seen you?

Well, as an almost 6' tall Asian woman who has lived in Canada for ALL of her life, I think I'll be able to do this in the Cayman Islands, starting from next week-end!

I may or may not let you all know how it turns out.

We'll explain the appeal of curling to you if you explain the appeal of the National Rifle Association to us.

It goes withoutu saying, Chihiro, that you must tell us what happened.

And more to the point -- where DID you find a horse head?

this is the most rediculous thing i have ever heard, people who follow this type of travel deserve muggings and the like. i mean if you saw someone doing it in your town would you be amused? i wouldn`t be, its really for people who think their quirky but are really just stuck for friends and ideas. its a lousy idea and whoever thought it up should think again. it makes a mockery out of peoples cities and towns acting like an ass(no pun intended). maybe if you would do it in your home town you may be allowed to domit in other peoples town.

i think i left the cooker on.....

If its harmless, what is there to complain about.

i think spikeprint lacks imagination.

In my home town and around the country, most of us love it if we can see something a bit less dull than people in suits and office attire running between work and lunch and for the bus.

I think it's best to take packable props. May I recommend the inflatable horse's head vs the full-on costume type?

how about packing some clothes, maybe some dignity? or you could go for a whole horse outfit because that would be really clever.

ahh spikeprint, sadly born without a sense of humour hey??? Hahaha. And as for doing it at home, of course someone would, why not??? It's all in good fun, and realistically its not making fun of anyone except yourself. It would be different say if I dressed as Hitler and started marching through Berlin issuing commands. Or dressed up as a bull and ran through the streets of Pamplona. Seriously dude, just chill out, you'll live longer if nothing else. And even if it is stupid, don't take life too seriously, you'll never get out alive.

P.S. With the kind of attitude you have, I would say that you are the one stuck for friends and ideas. Oh and don't wish upon another what you wouldn't want to happen to you i.e. "deserve" muggings. Pffft.

if thats a sense of humour you really lack imagination, its up there with pee wee herman movies. its dumb, low brow, incredibly tasteless and downright stupid. if you need to get your ideas for a gag off a website you really lack intelligence. at least dressing up as a bull in pampolona would be slightly ironic, and the funniest of the suggestions. my friends are all hilariously funny, thats why we don't resort to stupid gags for a laugh, we actually make jokes with our mouths. i would deserve a mugging if i dressed like a donkey, thats why i wouldn't do it. if your friends would laugh at this kind of thing they obviously come from the bottom of the genepool, in ireland we are renowned for our wit and sarcasm, not dressing up as clowns, and thats why i don't find this stupid idea unfunny.
