Believe it or not, Colombia is beatiful, its people are wonderful, the salsa is so fun, the ambience is so warm! The media plays it down so much-but once you go there, you'll fall in love. I live in the States and I would say my favorite cities here are San Fransisco and Miami, but I also love the wooded areas of Northern California and Oregon,and fall in New England. Of my foreign travels, Colombian is by far, the best. Try something different-go against the grain, go to Colombia­then you'll understand why the US has caused so much trouble there-they want it for themselves!

Best places are:

1) Livingstone (Guatemala) the only place where police haven’t stuck their noses.
2) San Pedro de Atacama (Chile) cooooool!!!!
3) Pensión Meza (Ciudad de Guatemala) Calle 10 Avenida 10. Police have spoilt it.
4) San Pedro la Laguna (Guatemala) it used to be a hippie’s haven, yet, it’s crowded with police nowadays

ECUADOR IS THE BEST PLACE TO TRAVEL .
I can recommend you the hotel ambassador for the days that you stay Quito,
that it costs 12 dollars approximately the night. it's a good hotel, very clean and quite.
If you going to the beaches in ATACAMES you can find 8 to 20 dollars for night at good hotels
You can also go to Riobamba that this located at 3 hours of Quito and it is a
very typical city. in this city the hotel LOS ALTARES has 3 dollar by person each night.
In this city you can visit some very interesting museums and
you can also climb the volcano chimborazo, also this city offers a short trip
in train like tourist attraction and to two blocks of the station of the train
there is an excellent cafe - pizzeria called Los sabores d' Italy.
In this trip you should not forget to visit the Baños City. At the city you can find hostals hotels were the price It's between 5 to 15 $/nigth and I can recomend you Hotel Santa Clara and Hotel Paty.
This it is a you take care tourist completely for their famous pools of waters thermal and beautiful cascades, you can also enjoy the show of the volcano tungurahua. In this City I recommend you the restaurant called Caesar's cafe-pizzeria, where you that you can taste the best food in the city, because they make the best pizza in firewood oven. The restaurant is located to a block of the municipality of the city.

Vietnam,Being a Australian 20yr girl who was on my own Vietnam kicks.... Amazing people who will go out of there way to help now worries with theft (not for me) a smile gets you a million miles and it is beautiful... Still sad but a real eye opener and a huge lesson..

I swear there is no country I didn´t like. They´re all beautiful: all you have to do is look at the bright side. Managua´s crap? Probably, but there you have Pensión Tres Laureles and the persian lemon tree. And so-so beaches like Pochomil and Masachapa get lively at weekends. Stucked in Puerto lopez (Ecuador) during the El Niño storms sounds like no fun. But it is. Is it fun to spend a night in Male because of a cancelled Air Lanka flight(don´t miss Unawatuna nor Tissawewa Rest House)? Sure. Ihate lovely places with a boring feel. And I love rotten holes with vibrant atmosphere. So it´s all about moments.A lovely night at Samba Loba(guinee Bissau), xmas with expats in Hainan Island(China), local atmosphere in Ubatuba(Costa Verde,Brasil),a voodoo party in Grand popo(Benin), the secret police of Marcos in Iloilo(Phillippines), Abené(Senegal), Puerto Viejo de Talamanca (Costa Rica), Sassandra(Ivory Coast), sunday market in Karwar(south of Goa),caught between two continents in Tehuantepec(mexico), the end of the rainy season in Tioman Island(Malaysia), a midnight stroll in Plaza España, Mendoza(Argentina) or Carcasonne(France), the fresh air of Boquete (Panamá),the Shilling market in Taipei or the Coconut Hill Hotel(Montserrat). Even the place I live is very nice except during peak season(july and august). It´s called Lloret De Mar(Spain). Don´t miss the Santa Cristina and Boadella beaches. It´s a resort town full of young beople and discos.We need 150.000 people to fill our 200 hotels.And we´re not even mentioned in the Lonely Planet book of Spain. A terrible mistake!

Argies don't lie
Argentinian liars!! If you love your country that much why you spend the little money you earn on holidays abroad?? For you Miami is the "Meca" (nice for "kitsch" lovers) and always complain that travelling in the country is expensive, that for half the price you can go to the USA or Brazil. Hypocrites! You feel ok praising your country but when it comes to choose a place for vacation... abroad is the choice!
