Short Transit time in Abu Dhabi & MumbaiHi Everyone,
We are just about to book our flights with Last minute.com and we noticed that there is a short connect time at Mumbai and Abu Dhabi airports.
I guess our questions are: Has anyone did this route before on these times? On the first leg of the journey the connection between Mumbai and Goa is only 1 hour 45 mins transit time. I read on the TT that it can take and hour to get out of the international terminal and another 30 mins to get to the domestic terminal. Because both our flights are with Jet Airways will they be responsible for checking our baggage though, and checking us in? Would it just be the case of going straight through to departures after customs and security? do you think we would have enough time?
If we book with Lastminute.com is this a package booking, will our bags be booked through for all the different carriers?
From Dublin to Goa via Abu Dhabi and Mumbai and return.
Our outbound flight
Dublin 08:20 - 19:40 Abu (Etihad)
Abu 22:50 - 03:15 Mumbai (jet Airways)
Mumbai 05:00 - 06:05 Goa (jet airways)
Goa 18:25 - 19:30 Mumbai (Jet Airways)
Mumbai 22:40 - 00:35 Abu Dhabi (Jet Airways)
Abu Dhabi 02:15 - 06:05 Dublin (Etihad)
Most flights that we looked at arrive into Mumbai early morning, 3am - 5am, making it hard to get the 5am flight to Goa. The next flight that w can find leaves around 12am.
We are hoping to fly to Goa on the one trip without having any overnights if we can. We are 2 females in our 30's looking to spend between £500-£650 on flights. We are open to suggestions too.
Thank you in advance for your help.

Thank you very much for your reply. Its made things a lot more clearer. We did not book anything yet we wanted to get some feed back first. I will check the fare rules before I do thou.
Once we are checked in and on the free inter-terminal shuttle, how long is the bus journey to domestic terminal? Once we are off the bus is there a long walk to the departure gate? Would you know an approx. time or i suppose it all depends on how busy the airport is?

4Hi Claired, from moment you have rechecked in your luggage at Jetairways counter just near shuttle, plane will not leave without you,20 MNS shuttle transfer max. Remember your duty free booze will be confiscated before boarding in Mumbai if not in checked luggage...
Also you will be given a piece of paper stamped by security to give to the last military security man when leaving International to go to Jetairways domestic check in.Don't loose it.

Thanks again for your reply, this information is really helpful. I did not want to be worrying the whole flight from Dublin will we or wont we make the connection. Now I know what to expect when we arrive its put my mind at rest. Also thanks for the tip about my duty free shopping, that would of never crossed my mind to put it in the checked luggage. I will be doing more research about these kind of things alls I have been concentrating on at the moment tis getting the flights book, which is a complete mind field!
