i'm planning to go to new orleans this thanksgiving (for the weekend), still not sure if i'll go by myself since i've never travelled alone in the US and i've never been to NO before, so looking for someone who might be interested to go with me, preferrably female 18-25. i'm mostly interested in wandering around the city (esp. french quarter), taking pictures, seeing the cemeteries and things like that.
i'm from europe but currently live in new york, 19 y/o, female.
e-mail me at unearthy_red at mail.com if you're interested! also any suggestions about what to see / what to do appreciated

2You will be fine. Get a hotel in the French Quarter so you don't have to walk there at night. In the French Quarter you will be fine. Lots of police. During the day, there are lots of tours you can book onto. Also in the evening you can book into a haunted New Orleans tour. Lots of great restaurants and bars. Oceane's and Cafe Dumond are not to be missed. I also would recommend taking one of the trolly cars down canal street and looking at the old houses. The only place I would caution you on would be the cemeteries. A lot of these are in bad neighborhoods. Try to find someone to go with you and definitely
don't go at night.
