4Sao Tome is not the most access prone of destinations. Keep in mind the Visa requirements as well. Your best bet is to get a flight to/from Libreville then go overland to Rio Muni Bata then go to Malabo from there. Air Nigeria runs the route of Sao Tome to Libreville-Douala-Lagos vice versa. Catching a ship is not a scheduled thing so unless you have several days open to catch a cargo ship then flying would be your option.

6They were in business... then they weren't.... now they are in business... now they are not....I refer to them as Air Nightmaria. When I was in Sao Tome last year the airport ticketing told me that the flight to Libreville & Douala was canceled that they were on strike then told me no flights in the foreseen future. I went to the downtown office the guy at the airline office told me that the flight has departed Libreville heading to Sao Tome should be here in about 45 minutes.....really!!! Sao Tome is one of those destinations where you'll feel like one of the few visitors on the islands. People are curious of you outside the cities yet a great place to visit if you ever get there..just 8,000 visitors a year.
