Re:Turkey ReviewI am back from a wonderful trip to Turkey.
Would like to thank all those who helped me in the planning -it was literally last minute and went off without a hitch thanks to you guys.Special thanks to swampeastmike who helped with iternary.
I would like to do a review -not very familiar as to how to go about it.Since I went for 11nights I can't write it all in one go.Also is there a separate place for reviews(I have read some -but to write there only seems to be 'post new thread' which is for the forum?

1The top "sticky" post is open to trip reviews even if it has become rather cluttered since it began. Personally, I believe that a good title under a new thread is just as or perhaps more valuable for those who search well. Include "Trip Review" and major places you visited.
p.s. Thank you for the "thank you". I looked back to remember how many hours I spent researching and writing those suggestions...

2Write your review and post it up on the main forum page(this one)and then post up a link to it on the trip review sticky. It won't get lost there and can also be found via a search once it drops down this main page.
Commence with a list of the places visited, include transport modes,accomodation-including good/bad comments, any notable eateries-or those to avoid! and any particularly interesting things you saw or experienced.Prices too,for various things, are also useful info for others in the planning/budgeting stage.
Some people have written novels covering blow by blow accounts of every minute of their trips and others just brief over views so there are no hard rules, just as little or as much as you have time to write is great.
All trip reviews are a help to other travellers and keep info up to date and accurate as well as providing inspiration :)

3Thanks for that.
I will do it,over a few days, mabe one place at a time(lots to see in one place though).
Regarding collecting it all and including it as a sticky on the top under all reviews,if sariyanka can help with that I wpuld appreciate it and so would all other future travellers I am sure.I am just not so good with all linking things.

4If you intend to write a review with a long section for each place then you could write it up on Word and store it on file(with a file for each section if that makes sense). This you can do over a few days rather than spend 10 hours solid at the keyboard :)
Once you have it all finished then you can post it up by cut and paste as separate reviews one after the other.
This way you won't get other posts interspersed with yours. If you write a piece and post it then there are sure to be congraulatory posts and question posts appear before you get the next section written a few days later. But this way you can post up 4-5-6-7 reviews one after the other.
At the bottom of each one write"see follow on review for(name of next place)" so readers understand your review is a long one covering several places.
You could do it as one single long review but I agree writing a headed review for each place may make it easier for researchers to find.
Sorry,my explanation is a novel in itself LOL!,but that's is how I would do it in your postion, written as I had time on Word, stored on file then cut and pasted all at once when finished.
As I'm a computer numpty there is likely an even easier way though :)
