affordable safari in east Afrika?/ Hells gate?I am traveling on a budget through east Africa and want to do some affordable safari. I want to see all the cool stuff. Does anybody have any suggestions? I will be in Kenya during mid to end oktober. I was thinking of doing walking safari in Hells gate. What are my chanses of seeing lions etc there?

1Hells Gate is a nice place to see, it's cheaper. You won't see lions or other dangerous animals there. That's the reason why you can ride a bike (or walk) inside the NP. I stayed at Fisherman's Camp a few years ago and rented the bike from them but what I heard, at the Park Entrance they also rent bikes. Go down to to gorge (with a local guide) which is good.

5Hells Gate is easy and cheap, but there are a few places in that area, I'ld really recommend, too.
-Hiking Mt. Longonot: 20USD, u can climb on top of the crater, takes 6-7 hrs and maybe see some Buffalo and Zebras etc.
-Take a walk to Lake Oloiden behind Lake Naivasha, not far from Fishermans Camp. Take a Mat to the junction and then walk. On ur way to the lake u will see Giraffe, Zebras, Antilope, Warthog and many more. On the lake there are millions of Flamingo and some Hippos - all of these things for free.
