suggest a trekGirl, 25, boy 20... both in good shape, experienced backpackers. Looking for a trek that includes some cultural things along the way (temples? remote villages? tea houses?) and views, views, views. No rock climbing or serious mountain climbing. Time frame is flexible - say week? 10 days?

1Are you talking 7 to 10 days trekking or 7 to 10 days total in Country. Either way, that's not much time for many of the great treks in Nepal. I would suggest the Langtang trek or Annapurna Base Camp trek, depending on your actual time in Nepal. Langtang is typically a 7 or 8 day trek, Kathmandu to Kathmandu. Annapurna Base Camp is around 10 days. Everest Base Camp is around 14. Manaslu and Tsum Valley is longer.

I would suggest ABC or Langtang with the time available. ABC has the edge for the drama of the views in the sanctuary but is not so good culturally (in my voew) because there are no real villages onmuch of the trek - only lodge clusters above Chomrong - though C and Ghandruk are interesting places.
Langtang has interesting villages and culture (Tamang) and with 10 days there is enough time to explore and hike to excellent view points above Kynajin Gompa (the last village). Tserko Ri and Kyanjin Ri gove good panoramas and a day hike up the valley alongside the glacier is worthwhile too.

4EBC is a busy trek; there more trekkers there than the other two at any given time but ABC gets crowded while Langtang is the quietest of the three though at its busiest during October until late November.
EBC is not always crowded...and with three weeks in Nepal it's possible (note flights to/ftom Lukla are subject to weather cancellations).
