Road Trip - Brisbane to Sydney IDEAS?So after some travel around Brisbane our plan is to road trip from Brisbane to Sydney over three days. Desired activities along the way include Surf Lessons, National Park, Views, Cheap good places to stay, and FUN.
Any ideas for sample itineraries? must do stops? thinks to watch out for?'
We'll be going mid october, there are two of us both ladies.

1you could try to do your surf lessons on the Gold Coast while you are in Brisbane. otherwise at Byron Bay,
the view from the Greenmount lookout at the NSW Qld border , on the highway near Bangalow, at Nambucca Heads, from the lookout on the Lakes Way near Forster, the lighthouse at Seal Rocks, and on the Woy woy road not far from Kariong, are some of the best views close to the highway.
take the drive into Bellingen and travel up the Dorrigo mountain to the top, you get good views coming back down. you could do the South West Rocks to Crescent Head loop and visit Trial Bay Gaol. stop into Port Macquarie, take the lakes Way through Forster, stop for a walk at Pebbly beach and the tanks, drive into Newcastle then the coast from Newcastle to Gosford is worth the drive if you have the time,

2Agree with Dorrigo (and Bellingen) and South West Rocks. Mount Warning NP is also worth a look, but with only 3 days you'll have to cherry pick and I don't think there'll be much time for learning to surf. Broken Head (around 8 km south of Byron) is one of my favourite spots along the coast.
