Jungle trek/huntingI read in the book a while ago about some tour operator had a few days stay in the jungle, plus some traditional ways to hunt with poison darts n like that, but now I forgot where it was, Sulawesi or Papua? Can anyone point me in the right direction? As I remember it was about a tour operator arranging the normal stuff like bird n butterfly watching, but also had this 2-3day thing in the jungle as the last paragraph, author wrote "truly ... experience" but I only have the paperback version, not PDF so I can't search.
Btw, what u guys say? Go Papua or Sulawesi? Your thoughts? Pros/Cons? (I don't do beach or diving)
Papua seems much more difficult, is it worth it?

1The dry season has just started in sulawesi n Papua this month, so it's going to be perfect for you if u visit the eastern part of indonesia now.
two years ago we went to sulawesi for an adventure arranged by an indonesian we met in Togian island. We stayed about 4 days in jungle of Luwuk, camping under a remote waterfall, and meet the Wana tribe that hunt with that poisonous blow pipe. I suggest you to go there in a group for a cheaper price. As we needed two tour guides to meet the Wana people. These people doesn't speak bahasa indonesia. Amazing experience. Anyway we also went to many beaches n spent two nights in an uninhibited small island with white sand beach and crystal clear water. Damn I wanna go back.
