guesthous between luang prabang and pakmong?I'am traveling by bike from luang prabang to the north. Are there any guesthouses on this road (13N). The way is too long to travel in only one day. Unfortunateli I didn't found any informations about a guesthous on this road. I would be very happy about every respond to my question.

2I think there is a guest house only some 20-30 km out from Luang Prabang, just after you have crossed a river on a big bridge, on your left. At least there is a big restaurant. I am quite sure there are no guest houses further up that road until you reach Pakmong.
I have cycled that way three times. Once going South and twice North.
I have never stopped though but gone all the way. It is a longish day, 116 km, but mostly flat and very nice road.
It is of course essential to get an early start from LP.
Btw, are you aware that there is cycling section here at TT, under 'In The Lobby"? Otherwise do a search for Pakmong at CrazyGuyOnABike and you will find many trip reports from Laos.
When you come to Pakmong don't make the mistake of staying at the first lodges, by the bus station. It is very noisy there. There are better guest houses at the T-junction right in the center of Pakmong. I have stayed at the Alone GH.

4this map has some guest houses shown on it and I know there have been a couple more added since the map was last updated http://hobomaps.com/Hwy13midMapLaos.html. The more recent ones look quite decent so keep a lookout for them as you head north on the road. happy trails
