Whale sharks, mantas and coral spawning - Ningaloo dive operatorsHi there
My husband and I are planning a trip in April and have allowed a good window of time to experience coral spawning on Ningaloo Reef. We'd really love to interact with whale sharks and manta rays, and dive during the coral spawning. We understand interaction will be by snorkel only, but would prefer to dive (we are certified advanced divers) rather than snorkel for the coral spawning.
Is anyone able to recommend Ningaloo/Exmouth dive operators which offer these options please? Either on separate day/night trips or combining everything on a liveaboard trip?

1April may be too early for manta rays according to this lot:

2April is also the earliest to see whale sharks.... we went four years ago and had a fantastic day trip with Three Islands Marine, and snorkelled about ten times throughout the day with two whale sharks, separately - that was the 1st May..... My husband also dived the Navy Pier with the same operators, I think, but he said it wasn't the best diving he'd ever had, the visibility was poor and in fact, snorkelling inside the reef was much better.
The beauty of this reef is that it is very close to shore and you can paddle out to it easily.
I've not heard of any live aboard trips at Ningaloo - they tend to be at the GBR but can thoroughly recommend Three Islands Marine for a whale shark trip.
