Getting TIMS/ACAP permit on a SaturdayHi
it is really not that I haven't done my homework and researched the Web and the Thorn Tree before asking this question but I just found conflicting info: I will arrive in KTM on a Saturday morning on a thight schedule (just 10days) so I would like to pick up the TIMS/ACAP permits the same morning in Kathmandu and head to the trailhead. I read that Tourism Nepal is closed but the TAAN Office Maligaon should be open 365 days a week - however, I also read a post that the TAAN office at Maligaon does not give TIMS permit to Free Individual Trekkers - however, the http://www.timsnepal.com/ does not say so (although it might be outdated like many government sites).
Has anyone recent experience/reliable info on that?

I read somewhere that the TAAN office closes at 12noon on Saturday. Not sure if they issue park tickets but these can be paid for at park entrances (double the cost for ACAP though).
Most FIT TIMS cards are issued by NTB but TAAN still seems to issue them too:
