Eurail couchette reservationsHello all - I'm trying to figure out how to get reservations for a couchette on two overnight trains. One is from Paris to Nice leaving 23 September and the other is for Venice to Munich leaving 30 September. My son and his wife already have the tickets, but I'm told reservations are compulsory. I tried the DB timetable, but I can't find where to book reservations for tickets that have already been bought. Help appreciated.

1Paris to Nice isn't too easy, but Venice to Munich is. See

2DB being German you can only buy tickets for train in Germany or arriving or leaving Germany.
So for the Venice Munich train you can book on www.bahn.de
For the French rail book on www.sncf.com the French national railways site.
Sorry just re-read your post are meaning you have a railpass but need buy a reservation or you need tickets and res?
If you have the railpass then my info above is no doubt incorrect.
Have you asked you son how he did it?

5Thanks a lot amigos. I successfully booked a couchette for the Venice to Munich trip. I also found this site useful: http://www.seat61.com/Railpass-and-Eurail-pass-guide.htm#reservations%20or%20pay%20supplements%20with%20a%20railpass
Then went to www.bahn.de and took care of business. Now I'll work on the Paris to Nice trip. I should have mentioned that I live in Mexico and my son lives in Texas.

6At the Paris / Nice site: http://www.intercites.sncf.com/lignes-nuit/paris-austerlitz-nice I can figure out how to book a ticket (which I don't need) but can't find a way to just reserve a couchette.
This was the procedure at the bahn.de site: Book at www.bahn.de (do an enquiry on the journey planner, locate the direct sleeper train, click to check availability as if you were going to buy a normal ticket, then look for the '_Book only extra charge'_ link at the bottom and on the next page select 'Pass offer'
