4I know of several Canadians who are not able to cross into USA, but over fly directly to Mexico, and have been doing this for years. However, these people were never deported, rather just not allowed entry into USA. Your present country might make a difference on how far a possible background check - and its ramifications- would go once in Mexico.. You may indeed have yourself a badge of honour.

6#5, what on earth are you going on about? Have you had your coffee yet today? Thousands and thousands of Mexicans are deported from the US every year who have nothing to do with those... topic. I'm certain that they don't apply to this OP either. Lighten up.
Anyway, I was 85% joking. The correct answer to OP's question is, no. Being deported from the US has zero effect on your ability to enter into Mexico.
If someone here has any actual info on Mexico doing "background checks" on visiting tourists, that'd make for an interesting discussion.

7You have no idea why this or any other person was deported. Your "sense of Humor" is indeed warped IMO.
To make such a statement as you made is really out there.
Almost all Mexicans who are deported entered The US Illegally. Just as illegals IN MEXICO are (IE thousands from Central & South America) deported. Hardly a badge of honor.

8I guess I simply live in a world where I generally give others the benefit of the doubt when it comes to being convicted sex offenders. Maybe I'm just naïve.
I'm sure you have your reasons for bringing up those subjects and I'm not going to speculate any further beyond stating that I'm pretty sure they don't apply to the OP and that no, those things clearly don't deserve a badge of honor.
So OP, how'd you get the boot anyway?
