I am form Brisbane, Australia and just booked my ticket for South America for 1 month. I will be traveling alone on 18th of November form Brisbane to Rio and will stay there for approximately10 days, then to La paz for 1 week and 2 weeks in Peru. And i will return to Australia from lima on 15th of December. Still i am working on my itineraries. It will be very nice for me to find some travel partners and make my trip more enjoyable during my stay in South America.

4Hey Barefoot -
I'll be in Peru at the end of the year. The plan is to do the 4-day hike to Machu Picchu, see Lake Titicaca, and go sand surfing in Huacachina. Definitely overlap with your plans.
I was thinking 12/26 - 1/7
25 year old male, college educated in USA, trying to get away from life for 2 weeks. The plan is to stay in hostels/live on the cheap but will always prefer spending an extra $100 for a plane ride over an 8 hour bus ride. ;)
Email - email@example.com. Happy to skype, facebook, etc as well.

5Probably way too late here but I'll be in Peru on Tuesday for about 3 weeks then heading down to Bolivia for another 3 weeks. Doing pretty much all you have listed along the way. Any good recommendations for somewhere to stay for my first night in Lima? I was thinking of going from there up to mancora for some surf and then hitting some national parks and reserves on the way down then onto machu picchu then bolivia.
How are you getting on? Any tips? I'm excited!!:D
