Marrakesh - Fez: train or plane?Hi Everybody,
1) What would you recommend taking between these cities, a train or a plane? How scenic/worthwhile is the road between them?
2) Is there a night train leaving Marrakesh to Fez? If yes, at what time?
3) How many airline companies/flights are there between Marrakesh and Fez daily? I couldn't find much going on.
Thank you so much for your advice. I really appreciate it.

1...... so you haven't browsed, borrowed or bought a guide book yet.... where a lot of this simple information is found.
For trains, the best and most comfortable way to travel in Morocco, and there's a night train between Marrakech and Tangier passing through Fez, details are found on this site ... http://www.oncf.ma/PrixEtReservation/Pages/VoyagesDeNuit.aspx
Flights between Marrakech and Fez go via Casablanca when I last looked, its a shambles costs too much and subject to delays of one kind or other, the train is best. The bus journey is a slow torturous bumpy over mountain roads experience, views can admired between throwing-up !.... again the train is best.

5For sure train. It's worth booking first class, you pay a little extra but you have a booked seat and that saves any hassle and shuffling around corridors when you get on with your bags.
Also the train timetables that are easy to search on the ONCF website were accurate and helpful. Bus times on various websites I found to be a mess.
Marrakesh and Fes both have modern, well laid out train stations.
