Honeymoon adventureHi, We're planning a belated honeymoon in October this year (not long to plan really), for about 2.5 weeks, flying from Scotland and we're at a bit of a loss on what to do. We have a few ideas such as hire a camper van and drive up either east coast or west coast Canada or USA. Our other thoughts were go somewhere like Croatia (but stay in nice hotels, do activity stuff (kayaking, climbing, biking etc) and then for a few days at the end of the holiday tag on a trip to Iceland or Norway to attempt to see some northern lights. We also thought about doing a rail journey somewhere - something that has sleeper options and enable us to see some beautiful sights. As you can tell, there are too many places in the world we cant to go!
We want it to be different to what we usually can afford (a week self catering in Italy!). We'd like to see some wildlife, see beautiful sights but not totally rough it (it is our honeymoons after all!). I also can't take anti-malarials or live vaccines, so some places we'd thought about are out.
If anyone has any ideas of trips they've done, we would love to hear about them.

1So to summarize, your are considering:
West Coast of North America
East Coast of North America
A rail journey somewhere
I think you have to narrow it down a bit more on your own before you'll get much for advice...
What I will say is that you don't want to be in a camper at that time of year in Canada, and I personally find October-November a great time to leave Canada. Early October can sometimes be decent, but June to September is really the best window for most of Canada and the northern US.

2Yeah, seems like your all over the map there.
Focusing on "our" country, Id drive a rental car/jeep down the couse from Whistler to mid Oregon. If time prevails....head all the way to San Fransisco. The coast is amazing over there, and for a honeymoon, its ideal.
My wife and I JUST got back from renting a condo right on the ocean edge on Rockaway beach. It was perfect...waves and ocean wind blowing through the open condo windows, no clogs of tourists, amazing!...have a look...
