Visas needed for Central AmericaHey everyone! I am travelling down to Mexico, Belize and Guatemala in a month and I just wanted to see if anyone had any information on the entry/exit requirements for those countries. I am traveling on a Canadian passport and from the looks of it I won't need any Visas, but if anyone can endorse or refute this it would be greatly appreciated!

1No visas required for holders of Canadian passports.
On the plane before you land, you should be given a tourist card (called FMM). When presented at Immigration, the officer will write in the number of days you'll be allowed to stay -- usually 180 days maximum. Keep the FMM with your passport and hand it in when you leave Mexico.
There is a fee for the FMM, and it's usually collected by the airline so there's nothing more to pay in Mexico. Be aware of scams where Mexican border officials ask for money. You might have to prove that you've paid the fee -- it will appear as a code on your ticket.
For citizens of Canada, no visa or fees when entering Belize. You will get a stamp in your passport allowing a stay of 30 days maximum.
Visitors wanting to stay in Belize longer than 30 days can go to the nearest immigration office and ask for an extension. The passport will be stamped again, allowing a stay of another 30 days. There is a fee for the new stamps; I think it's BZ$50 (US$25) per stamp for the first 6 months, and BZ$100 per stamp thereafter.
When leaving Belize, there will be fees to pay. For tourists departing at a land border and who have been in Belize more than 24 hours, there is a fee of BZ$37.50 (US$18.75), payable in BZ$ or US$. This site explains the departure fees:
If leaving through the airport, there will be fees but they are probably included in the ticket price.
You will probably be asked for money when entering & leaving Guatemala. I don't know if these fees are valid, but they are only a few dollars.
