Goa beach huts in September/OctoberHi everyone,
Does anyone have experience with renting a beach hut in Goa in the end of September/early October ?
In three months I´ll travel with my girlfriend from Mumbai to Chennai. Of course we´ll also spend a few days in Goa. In the itenary we made we´ll be in Goa from September 28th till October 1st (because of our tickets this dates are quite fixed). We would love to rent a beach huts but according the information on the owner´s websites almost no beach huts are available at that time. I read the beach huts have to go down each year at some places. Does anyone know nice beach huts/places with same ambiance at the beach open so early in the season or should I better search at particular beaches for beach huts opened year-round?
I´m not sure at which beach I would like to stay. We don´t like beaches to crowded but would love to have the opportunity to eat at different restaurants and have at least a sort of boulevard. I don´t how busy it will be at the beaches when we go there. We are not in season but probably we are here during the weekend.
Hope to hear from you.

1I wanted to delete the message I originally wrote as I posted it to the wrong question, but don't know how - sorry!
But as I can't - I would say to the OP not to worry about booking online, turn up and see what you like, rather than committing yourself to booking in advance. Have a look online or here or guidebooks as to where you would like to be - beaches in Goa can be VERY different, and have completely different atmospheres. See which one appeals to you first, and worry about the accommodation later - no point turning up to a beach you don't like just because it had a nice beach hut!
Hope that helps in some way while I work out how to delete messages!!

I think what ReddPeng said is good advice. No point being somewhere you don't want to be. I went to Palolem beach and I really enjoyed it. It's about 1.5 hours drive south of Goa. A taxi down there was pretty cheap with 4 of us sharing to cost. Here is what I thought of it:
If you can't find a beach hut, there should be some hostels around the area. Alternatively, we managed to rent half of a house off a family who lived right next to the beach. Was quite strange, but we had the kitchen, bathroom and a couple of bedrooms. We were staying for a longer time so might not be such a good option for only a few days there.

4Thanks for your replies! I think you´re both right: maybe I´ll have to take the change and show up and decide at that moment I arrive where to stay. I guess my biggest concern should be to get traintickets as soon as the bookingwindow opens. Accommodation in the end shouldn´t be the biggest problem. I already read about the different beaches at Goa.
I think we would like Agonda or Palolem most because this beaches wouldn´t be overcrowded (I don´t know if other beaches are very busy at that time), but there should be more options in accommodation at the beaches near Madgaon and maybe the life is not to busy at that time.
